By continuing to use the app, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy, including how your data is collected, used, and shared with third parties as described herein.

Lumi does not require you to create an account to use the app. Registration is an optional feature for saving your progress and syncing it across devices. All information you enter (name, gender, zodiac sign) is kept locally on your device and is only transmitted temporarily to our secure servers at the moment of generating a reading, as described in Section 3. For users without an account, we do not permanently store any user-provided data on our servers.

In order to provide you with personalized tarot readings and astrological insights, the app sends certain information to our secure servers hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the European Union. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our servers.

Before any data is sent to our servers for AI processing for the first time, Lumi will present you with a clear notice explaining what data will be sent and how it will be processed. You must provide explicit consent before any data is transmitted. You may withdraw your consent at any time through the app settings, which will disable AI-powered features that require data processing.

We use the following third-party services to help us understand how the app is used and to improve its stability:

We take all measures necessary to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. All data transmitted between the app and our servers is sent using encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Our servers are hosted on AWS infrastructure in the European Union with enterprise-grade security measures. User passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text. AI processing data is not permanently stored — it is processed in real time and discarded immediately after generating a response.

For registered users, your account information and progress data (reading history, unlocked card meanings, unlocked oracles, and unlocked card covers) are stored on our servers for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app settings. Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our servers.

Analytics data collected through Firebase is retained by Google in aggregated, anonymized form. You can clear all locally stored data at any time by deleting the app or clearing its data through your device settings.

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date, and your continued use of Lumi after such changes will be deemed your consent to the updated policy. For material changes, we will notify you through the app before the changes take effect.

By using Lumi, you release the developers from liability for any claims relating to the content of the app. The app is not intended for use by persons under the age of 16.

On tarotlumi.com, optional Google Analytics for Firebase starts only after you choose “Allow analytics”. Declining does not prevent you from using the website. You can change or withdraw your choice through “Privacy settings” in the footer. Analytics is disabled in local and test previews.
